Lawson return with brand new single, ‘Juliet’, out October 13th. Combining a heavy rock beat with bounding pop riffs and a slight reggae twang, this song has everything needed to make it the pop anthem for autumn and set UK dance-floors alight. ‘Juliet’ will have it’s first radio play at 5.30pm this Thursday, August 22nd across all major UK radio stations.
The track has an infectiously catchy rhythm that will get feet twitching from the first verse and heads banging as the chorus heats up.
Andy Brown says:
“We’re really excited for everyone to hear Juliet. I had a lot of fun writing it with Carl Falk in Sweden earlier on in the year and it’s great that it’s going to be our 6th single. It’s got an awesome energy to it and we can’t wait to play it live on tour later on in the year.”
‘Juliet’ follows a string of chart topping successes for Lawson; their debut album Chapman Square charted in the Top 5 in the UK album chart and includes top ten hits ‘When She Was Mine’, ‘Taking Over Me’ and ‘Standing In The Dark’. Their last single, ‘Brokenhearted’ featuring B.o.B. also reached the Top 10 back in July.
The band are now in the US where they have previously sold out gigs at the New York Bowery Ballroom and in LA. They are touring through America playing in New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, LA and San Francisco as part of the ‘Everywhere We Go Tour’.
The guys have been busy this summer with the Capital FM Summertime Ball, Hard Rock Calling and V Festival as well as making big plans in the lead up to their first US release. They are back with us soon for the iTunes Festival at the London Roundhouse (September 23rd) and the ‘Everywhere We Go Tour’ through UK and Ireland that kicks off on September 28th hitting the London Roundhouse on October 12th before finishing in Belfast on October 20th.
You can pre-order the track on iTunes from midnight tonight.
