UK singer/songwriter Kirsty Bertarelli releases her new album ‘Indigo Shores’ this week featuring ‘Disappeared’ and ‘There She Goes’.
Kirsty began writing in the mid 90’s and her song “I wouldn’t wanna be” was a number one hit for the girl group All Saints under the title ‘Black Coffee’. After a hiatus away from music, during which time she dedicated herself to her family, she has come back with a fresh new collection of songs, each one brimming with evocative melodies, beautiful performances and sincere lyrics.
Kirsty is also an exuberant performer, as proven by both her support slot on the Simply Red farewell tour and her slot at the Montreux Pop Festival, and it is in the live environment that the songs really come to life.
The album ‘Indigo Shores’ which takes listeners on a voyage of discovery that echoes Kirsty’s own travels through life, providing stunning imagery for songs that embrace universal emotions.
The album is out now via Decca Records and Kirsty joins a long and distinguished roster of artists that have worked with Decca since it began.
