Launched in the summer of 2009, Digital Rebel has firmly established itself as one of the top Digital PR agencies in the Entertainment Industry handling over 70 projects in it’s first 3 years. The results speak for themselves with 35 Top 40 albums, including 7 No.1s, 23 Top 40 singles, including 14 top 10 and 4 no.1s as well as top 10 places in both the Special Interest DVD chart and the Music DVD chart. In April 2012 the company lauched its new Content Planning and Strategy arm to its list of services.
Founded by Gary McKee and Paula Hartley, the pair first worked together at BMG with the former also working for Live Nation, Universal Pictures and Gut Records in his career and Paula becoming one of the industry’s foremost Digital PR & Marketing experts with Columbia Records.
It was this love of the digital world and entertainment that led to the formation of Digital Rebel which has innovation and creativity at it’s heart and a solid understanding of the ever changing marketplace.
In 2011 the team has expanded to include Alexandra Merri who joins from Universal Pictures after many successful years in the Home Entertainment Industry.
